چکیده فارسی: گسترش اینترنت مانند هر نوآوری دیگر، به ایجاد دگرگونیهایی در جنبه‌های گوناگون زندگی انجامیده است و در کنار دستاوردهای انکارناپذیر مثبت، پیامدهای نامطلوبی نیز به همراه داشته است. از این رو پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش شکاف میان- نسلی به منزله یکی از متغیرهای مهم و تأثیرگذار در پیش‌بینی اعتیاد به اینترنت نوجوانان انجام شده است. روش تحقیق در این پژوهش توصیفی و از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش، دانش آموزان دوره متوسطه دوم تبریز در سال تحصیلی 96-1395 بودند که از میان آنان 274 نفر به روش نمونه‌گیری خوشهای چند مرحله‌ای انتخاب شدند و مقیاس استفاده مشکل‌زا از اینترنت نوجوانان(PIEUSA) و پرسشنامه محقق ساخته شکاف میان- نسلی را تکمیل کردند. نتایج نشان داد میان شکاف میان- نسلی با اعتیاد به اینترنت رابطه معنادار و مثبت وجود دارد (p< 0/01،r= 0/21). مدل پیشنهادی از برازش مطلوبی با داده‌ها برخوردار بوده است و به منظور تبیین اعتیاد به اینترنت می‌توان از متغیر شکاف میان- نسلی استفاده کرد. از آنجایی که ابعاد شکاف میان- نسلی قادر به تبیین اعتیاد به اینترنت نوجوانان است، توجه به این امر میتواند پیشنهادهایی برای پیشگیری و مداخله در حوزه اعتیاد به اینترنت داشته باشد.
The Structural Relationship between Generation Gap and Internet Addiction among Adolescents
English Abstract: Internet usage growth has changed our life for the better; however, along with its undeniable benefits, it has also had adverse consequences. The present study sought to investigate the role of generation gap as an important and influential variable in the prediction of Internet addiction among adolescents. The research method was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of the study comprised senior high school students in Tabriz in academic year 2016-2017 from among them 274 individuals were selected via multi-stage cluster sampling method. The instruments included Problematic Internet Entertainment Use Scale for Adolescents (PIEUSA) and a self-devised Generation Gap Scale. The results showed that there was a significant, positive relationship between generation gap and Internet addiction (p<0.01, r= 0.21). The proposed model had a desirable goodness of fit into the data and generation gap can be used to explain Internet addiction among adolescents. Generation gap can explain variation in Internet addiction; thereby, it can be the base of some recommendations for Internet addiction prevention and treatment.
