چکیده فارسی: پژوهش حاضر به بررسی تجربه کنارگذاری فضایی زنان در شهر تهران می پردازد. پس از صورت گرفتن 20 مصاحبه از زنانی با سن 18-50 سال -که با نمونه گیری هدفمند انتخاب شدند- و دسترسی به اشباع نظری، گروه های مختلفی از سنخ های پوشش و جایگاه های اجتماعی تحت پوشش قرار گرفتند. سپس داده های به دست آمده با استفاده از روش نظریه مبنایی مقوله بندی شده و مورد تحلیل قرار گرفتند. مقوله محوری "تمایل به قبض و بسط فضایی قلمروی هویت" نام گرفت. تمام زنان اعم از محجبه و شل حجاب، آراسته و نامرتب یا با پوشش های خارج از عرف مدعی داشتن چنین تجربه ای از طرف زنان و مردان دیگر متعلق به سطوح گوناگون سواد و طبقه اجتماعی بودند و با توجه به سن و روحیه و تجربه های قبلی خود راهکارهای متنوعی را در زندگی روزمره به کار می گرفتند که شامل پرهیز از موقعیت یا بی اعتنایی به آن، برقراری گفتگو، مشاجره و مانند آن می شد. با تمام این اوصاف تجربه کنارگذاری به بخش مسلمی از زندگی روزمره بدل می شود که زنان به مرور به آن خو می گیرند.

Spatial Exclusion of Women Based on Their Clothing in Tehran

English Abstract: The present study deals with spatial exclusion of women in Tehran. Twenty women with different types of clothing and social status were selected by purposive sampling. Their age varied between 18-50 years old. The women had different occupation: students, teachers, housewives, employees etc. They were interviewed until theoretical saturation was gained. Grounded theory has been used for analyzing and categorizing data. The core category is described as “a tendency toward extending the spatial domain of identity” which refers to women’s effort for securing their identity as a belonging. All the women -including veiled and unveiled, with spruce and sloppy, childish, boyish or any unusual types of dressing- had experienced such exclusions and applied various methods for dealing with this problem in their every-day life such as ignoring or avoiding some situations, making dialogues or disputes. Nevertheless exclusion turns into an obvious part of their life and little by little they get used to it.
