چکیده فارسی: چکیده این پژوهش با هدف بررسی تأثیر پیوست‌‌های تصویری و نوشتاری فراگیران بر یادگیری واژگان و ترجمه متون انگلیسی- فارسی از طریق تلفن همراه انجام شد. بدین منظور 158 نفر از دانش‌آموزان دختر و پسر از مدارس متوسطه شهر اصفهان از سطح پیش- متوسط مهارت زبانی انتخاب شدند. در ابتدا آن‌‌ها در آزمون‌‌های کوتاه مدت بصری و کلامی شرکت کردند (چن و همکاران، 2005). فراگیران بر اساس نتایج این آزمون‌‌ها و بر حسب توانایی‌‌های بصری و کلامی آن‌‌ها به چهار گروه تقسیم شدند. در مرحله بعد واژگان جدید زبان انگلیسی را با پیوست (تصویری و نوشتاری) و بدون پیوست از طریق تلفن همراه فرا‌گرفتند. در پایان آن‌‌ها در آزمون‌‌های ترجمه تشخیصی و یادآوری شرکت کردند. نتایج این آزمون‌‌ها از تأثیر معنادار حافظه کوتاه مدت بر توان ترجمه آن‌‌ها از طریق تلفن همراه حکایت داشت. یافته‌‌های حاصل از این پژوهش می‌تواند نتایج مهمی را در حوزه مباحث نظری و عملی یادگیری واژگان و ترجمه متون انگلیسی از طریق تلفن همراه در پی داشته باشد.
Improving language skills through the usage of multimedia and mobile communication technologies
English Abstract: To help with the improvement of the general understanding of how the educational praxis come about, three acts of philosophizing, curriculum planning, and instruction are examined from the practical perspective. It is assumed that such perspective helps not only with the clarification of certain limitations in the conventional understanding of how the educational praxis comes about, but with the identification of ways of overcoming them as well. Considering education as a praxis and the role of practical thought in its improvement, the educational philosopher, the curriculum planner, and the instructor aim at overcoming the limitations in conventional thinking, and reaching the height of their practice through reflection. It is expected that the very essence of the practical perspective would pave the way for overcoming these limitations.
