چکیده فارسی: پژوهش حاضر با هدف تحلیل تأثیرات تحول دیجیتال بر مدل های آموزشی انجام پذیرفت. این تحقیق از نظر هدف کاربردی، به لحاظ روش گردآوری داده ها توصیفی و از نظر ماهیت داده ها کیفی میباشد. روش گردآوری داده ها مطالعات اسنادی با ابزارِ جستوجوی الکترونیکی و فیش برداری و روش پژوهش، فراتحلیل منطبق با الگوی راث و شل است. جامعۀ آماری تمامی پژوهش های داخلی وخارجی درخصوص آموزش برمبنای تحول دیجیتال است که از سایت های داخلی شامل ایرانداک، مگیران، اس.آی.دی، نورمگز، انسانی دات.آی.آر و سایت های خارجی شامل گوگل اسکالر، اسکوپوس، ساینسدایرکت، نمایه شده بود. نمونۀ آماری شامل 22 مقاله خارجی به زبان انگلیسی و 14 مقالۀ داخلی، درمجموع 36 پژوهش داخلی و خارجی بودند که به روش نمونه گیری هدفمند انتخاب شدند، محتوای هریک از مقالات با نرم افزار مکس کیودا نسخۀ 2020، بررسیشد و مطالب مهم هر سند، ازجمله عنوان، کلمات کلیدی و نکات مهم هر مقاله کدگذاری و تحلیل شد. یافته های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که تحول دیجیتال سبب چهار تغییر عمده شده که عبارتند از؛ تغییر در روش های یاددهی- یادگیری از روش های سنتی به الکترونیکی و ترکیبی، تغییر در روش های ارزیابی از سنتی به سمت استفاده از ابزارهای دیجیتال جهت ارزیابی و بازخوردخودکار، تغییر در ساختارهای سازمانی شامل کاهش سلسل ه مراتب عمودی و ایجاد ساختار ماتریسی و شبک های و همچنین تغییر در فرهنگ آموزش و حرکت به سمت تنوع فرهنگی، فرهنگ یادگیری مادام العمر و تمرکز بر مسئولیت های اجتماعی دانشگاه ها میباشد.
Digital Transformation in Education: From Traditional Methods to Novel Perspectives of Innovation
English Abstract: : This study investigated the effect of digital transformation on educational paradigms through a qualitative meta-analysis based on the Roth & Shell model. Data were extracted from 36 purposively selected articles indexed in prominent databases (e.g., IranDoc, Scopus). MAXQDA (v. 2020) was used for coding and thematic analysis. Findings revealed that digital transformation precipitates key shifts: (1) transition from traditional pedagogy to blended/e-learning environments; (2) evolution of assessment practices towards digital tools and automated feedback mechanisms; (3) restructuring of educational organizations into flatter, networked models; and (4) a cultural shift fostering diversity, lifelong learning, and heightened focus on universities’ social accountability. These transformations necessitate a re-evaluation of existing educational frameworks and strategic alignment with emerging digital realities. Introduction Digital technologies are driving a profound transformation across societal structures, reshaping organizational processes, operational models, and cultural norms. (OECD, 2020). In education, this transformation redefines pedagogical principles, reshapes learning environments, and challenges institutional foundations, necessitating a critical re-evaluation of established paradigms. Failure to adapt may render educational systems increasingly obsolete. Online platforms (Moodle, LMS, Coursera, edX) facilitate the democratization of education, overcoming geographical and temporal limitations (OECD, 2020). Virtual classrooms (Zoom, Teams, Meet) enable remote pedagogy. Blended learning integrates face-to-face and online components (Belousova et al., 2021), addressing social presence concerns (Bollens et al., 2017). Open Educational Resources (OER) amplify access (Adil et al., 2024). Automated assessment systems leverage artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and neurolinguistics programming (NLP) (Yuskovych-zhukovska et al., 2022), facilitating scalable evaluation and personalized feedback (Foster et al., 2024). These systems enhance assessment efficiency and reliability (Kelly et al., 2018). Organizations are drifting away from rigid hierarchical systems toward flexible, networked models (OECD, 2023). Universities prioritize inclusivity, lifelong learning, and societal engagement (Fitzgerald et al., 2014). This research critically examines these ongoing changes, offering strategic insights for navigating digital transformation and addressing the existing gap in the literature concerning its impact—empowering institutions to adapt and thrive. The urgency for such examination is greater than ever. Methodology This applied descriptive correlational research intends to examine the current situation and the effect of an independent variable on a dependent variable and the moderating role through correlation analysis. The statistical population of this research comprises all elementary school teachers in Shahreza city, Iran in the academic year 2021-2022, approximately 502 people (including 238 men and 264 women). The sample size was determined as 218 individuals according to the ratio P = 0.5 and then using the Cochran’s formula and a confidence level of 95 percent and a standard error of estimation of d = 0.05. In this study, simple random sampling method was used and 240 questionnaires were distributed among elementary school teachers in Shahreza city through physical, online and social networks. Finally, 218 complete questionnaires were used to examine the research hypotheses. The data collection tools were the standard questionnaires of Work Engagement Scale by Schaufeli et al. (2001), Social Status Scale by Omrany and Yagoobi (2017), and Quantum Management Skill Questionnaire by Azimi Sanavi and Razavi (2014), whose validity and reliability were confirmed through content and construct validity, composite reliability, and Cronbach's alpha. In this study, descriptive statistics of percentage, mean, and standard deviation and inferential statistics of structural equation model were used. Results This meta-analysis synthesizes existing research to elucidate the multifaceted ways digital transformation reshapes educational models. A comprehensive review of both domestic (Persian language) and international (English language) scholarly literature revealed a pronounced shift in pedagogical practices, assessment strategies, organizational structures, and educational cultures. Overview of Reviewed Studies A preliminary analysis indicated that 79% of the reviewed studies were conducted internationally, while 21% originated from domestic sources. This highlights the need for further investigation within the specific context of the Iranian education system. Thematic analysis categorized the studies based on their focus within the realm of digital transformation in education (Table 1). Qualitative Data Analysis and Key Themes We used interpretive analysis to examine the selected studies and determine the impact of digital transformation on educational models. Content analysis yielded 77 initial codes. Subsequent axial coding refined these into 25 codes, culminating in four overarching categories that represent the core transformations driven by digital technologies (Table 3): Transformation of Teaching and Learning Methods:This domain encompasses the integration of technology into pedagogy, personalized learning approaches, the development of blended learning models, open learning initiatives, and lifelong learning paradigms. Active teaching methods, such as flipped classrooms, gamification, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), collaborative learning, and problem-based learning, are increasingly prevalent. Transformation of Assessment Methods:Traditional assessment methods are evolving to include group assessments, skill-based evaluations, project-based assessments, self-assessments, peer reviews, and automated/intelligent examinations. This shift reflects a move towards more authentic and holistic evaluation strategies. Transformation of Organizational Structure:Digital transformation necessitates flexible organizational structures characterized by reduced vertical hierarchies, network-based configurations, and matrix structures. This promotes agility, collaboration, and responsiveness to change. Transformation of Educational Culture:A cultural shift is evident, emphasizing cultural diversity, lifelong learning, and a focus on the social responsibility of educational institutions. This fosters a culture of innovation, active learning, and digital integration. Synthesis and Implications The findings underscore that digital transformation extends beyond mere technology adoption; it entails a fundamental restructuring of educational ecosystems. These transformations require educators to adapt their pedagogical approaches, assessment strategies, and organizational models to effectively harness the potential of digital technologies. Furthermore, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and social responsibility is crucial for preparing students to thrive in an increasingly digital world. This meta-analysis provides a valuable framework for understanding the complex interplay between digital transformation and educational models, offering guidance for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to navigate the evolving landscape of education. Discussion and conclusion Based on the findings, digital transformation is fundamentally reshaping educational paradigms. Teaching-learning methodologies are shifting towards electronic and blended approaches, fostering collaborative and personalized learning experiences that enhance effectiveness and engagement. Traditional assessments are being replaced by automated and intelligent testing, self-assessment, and peer review- tools that improve accuracy and foster student confidence. Organizational structures are evolving into more flexible, networked and matrix-based models with reduced hierarchies and increased responsiveness. Furthermore, the promotion of cultural diversity, lifelong learning, and social responsibility transforms organizational culture. To harness these transformations, it is recommended that faculty and students be empowerment in technology-enhanced pedagogy and automated assessment.
