چکیده فارسی: مری دیلی در کتاب فراتر از خدای پدر: به سوی فلسفۀ آزادی زنان[i] مفاهیم نهادینه شده مردبنیان ادیان، به ویژه مسیحیت را درباره خدا به چالش می‌کشد و نشان می دهد تصویر خدایی که در نهادهای مذهبی ترسیم شده است با نگاه مردسالارانه، غلبه‌جویانه، و استیلاگر تطابق دارد. وی تلاش می‌کند براساس مفاهیم فمینیستی و آموزه های صلح طلبانه و نظریات مربوط به "گوش سپردن" و "مراقبت" تصویری نو از خدا و امکانات جدیدی برای رابطه دیگرگونه میان انسان و خدا ترسیم کند. تصویر جدید از خدا و انسان براساس دیدگاههای اگزیستانسیالیستی و اخلاق فمینیستی به نحوی بیان می‌شود که به جای رابطه یک سویه و غالب-مغلوب در تصویر سنتی مذاهب از خدا و انسان آنها با یکدیگر در تعامل و همدلی به سر می‌برند. این مقاله با بررسی این کتاب و دیدگاه‌های نو و تأمل‌برانگیز آن در مورد بازمعنابخشی به مؤلفه‌های الهیات مسیحی در بستر تجربۀ زنان گزارشی از دو مفهوم خدا و هبوط ارائه می‌کند.

Rereading the Concepts of God and Descent In the Feminist Theology of Mary Daily

English Abstract: In her book Beyond God the Father: Toward a Philosophy of Women's Liberation, Mary Daily challenges the institutionalized masculine concepts of religions, especially Christianity, about God, and shows that the image of God, drawn in religious institutions, corresponds to a patriarchal, contentious, and aggressive God. Based on feministic concepts and peacemaking teachings and also theories regarding ‘listening’ and ‘caring’, she tries to offer a new image of God and new possibilities for another relationship between man and God. The new image of God and human is expressed based on existentialist and feminist ethics in a way that the unilateral dominant-dominated relation in the traditional image of religions is replaced by interaction and sympathy between God and Human. Reviewing this book and its new and considerable reflections on the elements of Christian theology giving them a new meaning in the context of feminine experience, this article presents a report on the concepts of God and Descent.
