چکیده فارسی: برنامه های آموزشی قبل از ازدواج در جهت کسب باورها و انتظارات واقعی درمورد ازدواج و انتخاب همسر بسیار مفید است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی اثربخشی آموزش مبتنی بر مدل symbis بر باورهای مربوط به انتخاب همسر و انتظارات از ازدواج دختران  صورت گرفته است. نمونه شامل 30 نفر دختر مجرد ایرانی داوطلب شرکت در مطالعه بودند که به صورت تصادفی در گروه آزمایش و گروه کنترل جای گرفتند. هر دو گروه به پرسشنامه محقق ساخته باورهای مربوط به انتخاب همسر( BMSS) و انتظارات از ازدواج(MES) به عنوان پیش آزمون و پس آزمون و آزمون پیگیری پاسخ دادند و نتایج با استفاده از آزمون تحلیل کواریانس با اندازه گیری مکرر مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان دهنده تأثیر مدل symbis بر کاهش باورها و انتظارات غیرمنطقی در مقایسه با گروه کنترل بود. هم چنین نتایج نشان دهنده پایدار بودن اثر آموزش بعد از گذشت 3 ماه بود. بنابراین  نتیجه گیری می شود که از مدل symbis  می توان در آموزش و مشاوره قبل از ازدواج استفاده کرد.

Investigating the Effect of the SYMBIS-Based Training Model on Girls’ Marriage Expectations and Beliefs about mate selection

English Abstract: Premarital education programs for achieving real beliefs and expectations about marriage and mate selection are very suitable. The present study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the SYMBIS-based training model on girls’ beliefs about mate selection and marriage expectations. The sample size consisted of 30 Iranian single girls volunteered to participate in the study. They were divided into two experimental and control groups (each with 15 participants). The two groups answered the researcher-made Beliefs about Mate Selection Scale (BMSS) and Marriage Expectation Scale (MES) in pretest, posttest, and follow-up stages. The results obtained from those questionnaires were analyzed via the repeated measures ANOVA. The results showed the more effectiveness of the SYMBIS-based training model on reducing irrational beliefs and expectations about marriage in the experimental group than the control group. Also indicated was the sustainability of the training model after 3 month. As a conclusion, the SYMBIS model can be used in premarital training and counseling models and programs.
