چکیده فارسی: یکی از چالش‌های حقوق بشری زنان که در سال‌های اخیر مورد توجه قرار گرفته است، مسئله ناقص‌سازی جنسی زنان می‌باشد. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی ممنوعیت ناقص‌سازی جنسی زنان از دیدگاه حقوق بین‌الملل بشر به‌روش توصیفی- اسنادی انجام شد. ازاین‌رو، این پرسش که ناقص‌سازی جنسی زنان بر چه اساسی از دیدگاه حقوق بین‌الملل بشر ممنوع شده است و سازمانها و نهادهای بین‌المللی چه اقداماتی در این مورد اتخاذ نموده‌اند، بررسی و تحلیل گردید. نتایج نشان داد که ناقص‌سازی جنسی زنان ناقض حقوق بنیادین بشر زنان ازجمله حق برخورداری از سلامت کامل است و منع به‌کارگیری آن به اقدامات جدی‌تری ازسوی دولت‌ها، سازمانها و نهادهای بین‌المللی نیازمند است. همچنین ضرورت دارد که دولت‌ها توصیه‌های مربوطه نهادهای مبتنی بر معاهدات بین‌المللی حقوق بشری را در این موضوع اجرایی کنند.
The Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation from the Viewpoint of International Human Rights Looking at the Actions of International Organizations and Institutions
English Abstract: One of the challenges of women's human rights that has been considered over recent years is the issue of female genital mutilation. This descriptive-documentary study aimed to investigate the prohibition of female genital mutilation from the viewpoint of international human rights; thus, the following question was examined: why has the female genital mutilation been prohibited from the viewpoint of international human rights and what actions have the international organizations and institutions been doing? The results indicated that the female genital mutilation violates women's basic human rights, such as the right to good health and the prohibition of its use requires more serious actions done by the governments and international organizations and institutions. In addition, the governments should execute the recommendations of institutions' international human rights agreements.
