چکیده فارسی: در این مقاله با استفاده از روش تحلیل استنادی، به بررسی رفتارهای استنادی دانشجویان دوره‌های دکتری حرفه‌ای دامپزشکی دانشگاه شهید چمران اهواز، طی سالهای 1376-1380 پرداخته می‌شود. در این بررسی مجلات هسته شناسائی می‌شوند، میزان هزینه- سودمندی آنها برآورد شده، جایگاه مجلات هسته حاصل از این مطالعه در میان فهرست مجلات ISI نیز تعیین می‌شود. موضوعات پایان نامه‌های مورد بررسی شناسائی و با فهرست موضوعی پایگاه اطلاعاتی VET CDتطبیق داده می‌شود تا حوزه‌های موضوعی که احیاناً کمتر مورد توجه بوده و روی آنها باید کار انجام شود شناسائی شوند.
Identifying Core Journals and Determining Cost-Efficiency of Foreign Journals Cited by Veterinary Medicine Students of Shahid Chamran University to Recognize the Ranked Position of these Journals in ISI Journals List
English Abstract: This paper aimed to study the citation behavior of the students of the school of veterinary medicine at Shahid Chamran University in the period of 1376-1380 using citation analysis which is one of the most important method of scientometric techniques. The core journals in this study were determined and compared with the list of the ISI journals to find out their impact factor ranked. Also the subjects of the studied dissertations were identified and compared with the subject catalogue of the Vet CD database in order to identify the subject areas which were probably less considered.
