چکیده فارسی: مهم‌ترین نقش زنان در سبک زندگی اسلامی مادری و تربیت فرزند است و با توجه به شرایط اجتماعی امروز، به خصوص سیاست‌های جمعیتی، مادری از مسائل مهم علوم اجتماعی است؛ اما مفهوم مادری در ایران کمتر مورد توجه پژوهشگران قرار گرفته است. در این راستا پژوهش حاضر به دنبال شناسایی ویژگی‌های مادری خوب از دیدگاه زنان و مردان است تا بتواند با دستیابی به فهمی درست از تعریف مادری خوب، گامی در جهت زمینه‌سازی برای ارائۀ الگو و تعریفی مناسب از نقش مادری، متناسب با شرایط امروز جامعۀ ایران بردارد. به این منظور با مصاحبه با 90 نفر از مشارکت‌کنندگان شامل پدران، مادران، مردان متأهل، زنان متأهل، پسران مجرد و دختران مجرد ساکن شهر تهران و تحلیل محتوای کیفی مصاحبه‌ها به استخراج ویژگی‌های مادری خوب از دیدگاه آنان پرداخته است. بر اساس یافته‌ها، ویژگی‌های مادری خوب شامل «فداکاری و صبوری»، «مهربانی و دلسوزی»، «حمایت و یاری‌گری»، «آرامش و امنیت‌بخشی»، «آگاهی و دغدغه‌مندی»، «درایت و مدیریت»، «الگو بودن برای فرزند»، «تربیت فرزند شایسته»، «تعامل سازنده با فرزند» و «ایفای متعادل نقش‌ها» بوده است.
A qualitative study of the characteristics of good mothering
English Abstract: The most important role of women in the Islamic lifestyle is the mothering and raising children, and considering today's social conditions, especially population policies, mothering is one of the important issues of social sciences; but the concept of mothering in Iran has received less attention from researchers. In this regard, the current research seeks to identify the characteristics of the good mothering from the point of view of women and men. For this purpose, by interviewing 90 participants, including fathers, mothers, married men, married women, unmarried sons and unmarried daughters living in Tehran, and qualitative content analyze of the interviews, extracted the characteristics of the good mothering from their point of view. According to the findings, the characteristics of the good mothering include "sacrifice and patience", "kindness and compassion", "support and help", "giving tranquility and security", "having awareness and concern", "tact and management", "being a role model for the child", "raising a worthy child", "favorable interaction with the child" and "balanced performance of roles".
