چکیده فارسی: تحوّلات دوره معاصر که باعث رشد روز افزون زنان نویسنده در سال‌های اخیر گردید، به زنان این فرصت را داد تا در قالب رمان، جایگاه نوین خود را در عرصه‌های گوناگون اجتماعی به تصویر بکشند. در این راستا، پژوهش مذکور تلاش کرده است با رویکرد کیفی له تحلیل نگاه منتقدانه نویسندگان زن ایرانی و فلسطینی را به جایگاه اجتماعی زنان، در دو رمان "جزیره سرگردانی" سیمین دانشور و "اصل و فصل" سحر خلیفه، مورد بررسی قرار دهد. نتایج نشان از آن دارد که در این دو رمان، شاهد رابطه‌ای نو میان جامعه و شخصیت‌های زن هستیم. دادن نقش مثبت به زنان و تحوّل شخصیت آنان از زنانی خانه‌دار به شخصیتی فعّال در صحنه اجتماع و سیاست، پشت پا زدن آنان به سنت ازدواج اجباری و... از ویژگی‌های رمان‌های مذکور است. آنان با اینکه در ابتدا تحت تأثیر شرایط جامعه سنتی قرار دارند؛ ولی در ضمن داستان و حوادث گوناگون دچار تغییر و بازاندیشی فراوانی می‌شوند؛ به گونه‌ای که در پایان داستان از شخصیتی ایستا و منفی، به شخصیتی کاملاً پویا و مثبت تبدیل می‌گردند و در این زمینه، نویسندگان با آنان همراه و هم‌عقیده می‌شوند

A look at the social status of women from a critical perspective of contemporary Persian and Arabic novels: case studies of Wandering Island [Jazire-ye Sargardāni] " by Simin Dāneshvar and " Origin and Chapter" by Sahar Khalifeh.

English Abstract: The various changes of the contemporary era, which have led to the increasing growth of women writers in recent decades and given them the opportunity to portray their new position in diverse social arenas in the form of novels. Regarding this, the research by using a descriptive-analytical approach, explores the critical views of Iranian and Palestinian female writers about the social status of women in two novels: "Wandering Island [Jazire-ye Sargardāni] " by Simin Dāneshvar and " Origin and Chapter" by Sahar Khalifeh. The results show that in these two novels, we witness a new relationship between society and female characters. Giving women a positive role and transforming their personalities from housewives to active figures in society and politics, their rejection of the tradition of arranged marriage and so on are among the characteristics of the aforementioned novels. Although they are initially influenced by the conditions of traditional society, they undergo a lot of transformation and rethinking throughout story and different events; in such a way that at the end of the story they transform from a static and negative character into a completely dynamic and positive character. On this point, the authors agree with them.
